- Personalities in Crisis

March 25, 2008
By Gerry Wakeland
Hardly a day goes by here in the CLASS office that we do not receive an e-mail or phone call from someone who tells us how understanding The Personalities has "changed their lives", "saved their marriage", "kept them from killing their kids", etc. It is an encouragement to those of us who are on the receiving end of these comments to see first hand the impact that this information has had on so many.
I first learned of The Personalities over 20 years ago. At first I saw it as an asset to my work. At the time I had over 60 men and women reporting to me and there were far too many days that I left work ready to scream. Learning about The Personalities helped me better understand these men and women and their needs. It helped me take 60 plus individuals and turn them into a dynamic team!

- Melancholy Perception
-
March 15, 2008
By Linda Gilden
My dream of becoming a writer was shattered by a creative writing professor obviously struggling to encourage. I had written an article that I was sure was a Reader’s Digest shoo-in. On my returned paper were the words, “You have nice handwriting!” Nice words, but when falling on melancholy ears, they were enough to discourage me for many years.
I realize Mrs. Griffith, my teacher, was desperately searching for something positive to say rather than being critical of my writing. But my personality bypassed the nice words and went straight to what I thought was the heart of the matter!

- Re-Training My Powerful Side

March 6, 2008
By Linda Goldfarb
This month we are discussing Personalities and I felt encouraged to share my not-so-popular (UN-Sanguine) side.
According to the Personality Puzzle, my piece would be Powerful Choleric with Popular Sanguine around the edges. And I must admit, it fits perfectly.
