Technology and Thanksgiving

When America was founded by people who were seeking a place of refuge and religious freedom, a dictionary did not include the word technology. As hard as it is to believe, the industrial age that was to come was not known by the people either.

When one stops to think of the progress our nation has made, and the impact of this digital age, we must remember it has come as a result of free enterprise and the faith of God's people.

Create a Web Presence - Fast!

Getting out on the World Wide Web isn't as hard as it sounds.

You don't have to pay a Web designer to have a presence in cyberspace. And you don't have to try building a Web site from scratch through open source software like Joomla! or Druple, which can be complicated to configure.

All you need to do is start a blog.

His breakout book Don't Make Me Think (second edition) is an excellent resource if you are in the process of building your own Web site or helping to redesign your company's existing Web site.

What you might think your Web audience will automatically click on and what your Web audience actually does click on are often two different matters. You might just be shocked enough with what you find to go back and redesign your site.
